The highly international nature of the programme also makes it suitable for students who want international mobility. Above all, it is a preparation for general management with a global outlook rather than particular country‐centric one.
The 4‐ year full time program consists of eight Semesters, each semester being of six month duration.
Here the focus is to give the students a firm grounding on the managerial skills and also in honing their interpersonal skills through a series of practical based sessions. In the subsequent semesters, the focus shifts to specialization based subjects relevant to the specific Stream.
The classroom training is supplemented by guest lectures by specialists, industrial visits, summer projects & assignments. Other co‐curricular activities include an Intercollegiate Festival, i.e. Seminars, Corporate Round Tables and Workshops, Mock Interviews & other skill development sessions. The aim is to ensure an overall development of the students by building interaction between students of the institutes & personnel from various industries.
Prospectus, CMAT forms and Admission forms will be available at the information desk of the college. If any student want to enroll in BBA must accomplish either +2 or PCL or equivalent qualification in any discipline with minimum grade “D+” in all the subjects of 11 and 12 with CGPA of 1.8 or more, minimum score of second division marks. He or she must appear CMAT test taken by Tribhuvan University. He or she must secure at least 40 out of 100 in CMAT to join TU BBA .
CMAT (Central Management Admission Test) is not technically so difficult. You can get CMAT practice book at New Baneshwor.
There will be four sections
1. English (25 marks) (synonyms, antonyms, phrasal verbs,…)
2.Mathematics (25 marks)
3. Logical reasoning (25 marks)
4. General knowledge (25 marks)
In government colleges, 96 students can enroll in a batch, while only 64 students can enroll in the TU BBA affiliated colleges. Suppose I give exam in government college and don’t get selected. Will I still be able to study in private if I get pass mark? For getting a safe corner, you must apply in private colleges and government colleges at a same time. Sometimes the deadline for private colleges will be quite earlier. So, you may visit some of the private colleges to acknowledge their respective deadlines and also filling up of admission form will be a good idea.
The cost of 4 years of TU BBA program in affiliated colleges ranges from Rs. 7 lakhs to 10 lakhs. Government colleges is relatively cheaper with cost ranging between Rs. 3.5 lakhs and Rs. 4 lakhs. Simillarly, the fee structure of our K&K International College is comparatively affordable ie. 6 lakh 90 thousand.
TU BBA colleges offer Scholarship up to 50 percent for 4 students. For scholarship, you need a letter from VDC or municipality certifying that you did SLC from government school, and submit it to your respective college where you enroll in. Also there is scholarship provided by college to top 3 students of each semester on the basis of their academic performance & results.
The Placement team facilitates this process from preparing his / her resume, conducting mock interviews preparing the student for the interview process, inviting companies and managing the interview & selection process.
